Personally I would not describe the curtains as gold, but more so cream. This did not concern me too much as cream goes with my room decor. However, they did have a few minor faults to them, such as a tiny black mark that looked like machinery grease and a tiny thread pull. Overall I am pleased with them and maybe the price reflects the quality.
