Love this coat. The green colour really suited me even though I loved the dark blue patterned one as well. The green looked like a different coat and suited my complexion better (fair skinned). The sizing is large on these coats but it is meant to be a relaxed fit. So usual size rather than sizing up. I am normally between a 12 and 14 and tried the coat in a 10 and a 12. Both fitted well and had plenty of room for warm layers under so it’s a very personal choice what look you prefer. I found the 12 looked nicer on me with the more relaxed fit and look, as opposed to the snugger fit of the 10. It looked like a completely different coat in the two sizes. If you look at the photos of the model wearing the coat, that is how the 12 looks and hangs on me. I am wearing it open with a smart jacket or body warmer under on colder days as I like that look - and only fasten it if it’s pouring with rain. Without extra layers it would be perfect for spring and autumn so it’s a 3 season coat. Wore it in foul windy wet weather recently with driving rain and it’s fully waterproof. Lovely snug hood that is a nice size and shape. The only negative for me is the inner pocket material is flimsy. I hope the pockets last as long as the coat but if not they can be repaired. The drawstring waist idea doesn’t do anything for me - think sack tied round the middle! So I don’t use that - I think it looks much more stylish without the drawstring. This also affects sizing - if I had wanted the back gathered then the 10 was not big enough to fasten. So think about how you want it to look - it’s a very versatile style really but I would say it is true to size - and a relaxed fit.
