One knit, three looks

23 January 2019

The temperature drop has its positives – one being the fact that it’s the perfect excuse to indulge in cosy, oversized knitwear. But before you reach for sombre grey and black, we dare you to add a little colour to your everyday look with this amazing neon pink jumper. Granted it’s not as easy to style as a neutral shade, but allow us to inspire you with these three outfits.

Look one:

How to make an effort, without making an effort

Thanks to Kate Moss recently being papped in a pair of flared jeans, the Seventies-inspired cut is officially back on the fashion grid. Styled with an oversized jumper, take Kate’s lead and wear this easy ensemble to your next catch-up with friends. It has all the effects of a well-thought-out look but only takes two seconds to put together.

Look two:

How to turn heads for all the right reasons

When it comes to dressing for an evening event, be it date night or an after-work dinner, it’s easy to overthink your outfit. Is it smart enough? Do I look overdressed? And so on. The next time you open your wardrobe and panic, simply ask yourself – what am I excited to wear? If it reflects this ensemble then you’re on to a good thing. Every piece has the wow-factor and yet it still feels effortless. Finish with your favourite lipstick and you're good to go.

Look three:

How to brighten up your Monday morning

Heading to the office after a weekend is always tough – so why not give yourself a motivational boost by adding some colour to your outfit. Proving neon pink can be work appropriate, style with tailored trousers that have a subtle print, as it will pare back the brightness of the jumper. Add polished flats and statement earrings to finish.
