Had the full range in this altough had a bad experience delivery wise with the wardrobe but more than made up for it!

Whilst I really like the look of these bedside drawers I wasn’t expecting them to be as stiff to open as other reviews had stated. However, as they are for a spare bedroom I decided that this wasn’t a big deal. But what hadn’t been mentioned was the awful smell when I opened the boxes. At first I thought it was the box itself so wasn’t too bothered but it transpires that it is the drawers that have the awfully strong smell. It comes from inside the casing, I think it must be the glue that has been used to stick it all together. I thought if I left the drawers open it would dissipate but after 4 weeks I can still smell it. I’ve tried putting bicarbonate of soda inside them but that hasn’t made any difference. At the moment I’ve left some sheets inside the drawers which now have the gluey smell. I’m going to wash them and try the same thing until the smell eventually disappears (I hope!). I had ordered a 6 drawer wide chest to match the bedside cabinets but as this wasn’t available for delivery until September I was luckily able to cancel.
